So, we'll do a...ficathon fest?

Y'all hate me, don't you? Half of you voted for a ficathon, the other half for a fic fest. *shakes fist* LOL!

Okay, fine. I can rise to the occasion. ;P

Since I don't want to force anyone to do anything they'd rather not, here's my suggestion:

We'll just do both! :D

There'll be a sign up post (with screened comments) where everyone can choose whether they want to be part of the ficathon or contribute on their own. I'd organize the ficathon, so we'd (hopefully) get a bunch of prompt-based stories that way. Everyone else is free to write (or create art) however they see fit, without the added pressure of having to fill someone else's prompt.

See? Best of both worlds! :)

There will be an additional prompt post, where we can collect ideas to help jump start the muses (these prompts would not be the same as the ones used for the ficathon, of course!). Anyone would be free (but doesn't have to!) get their inspiration from the prompts post...including the writers who signed up for the ficathon. *g* Yes, everyone should feel free to write more than one story or create more than one piece of art! LOL!
