Okay, Halloween's getting closer. Since the posting period for the Tibbs Halloween Extravaganza is, well, one day, I want to make sure that everyone who participates also will have something to post and share on that particular day. Pinch hitting is all fine and dandy, and nobody's gonna be mad at you if you just can't write your assigned story (for whatever reason), but I'd like to be prepared and give a potential pinch hitter enough time to get a fic written. It'd be kind of weird to get a Halloween story posted around Thanksgiving, after all... ;P
So, everyone who's participating in the ficathon, please comment here and let me know the status of your story.
There are basically these options:
(1) You're already done. Go you! (And shame on you, you over-achiever! You make the rest of us look bad! *g*)
(2) You're not done yet but you know you'll have the fic ready to be posted on Halloween. Pinky promise.
(3) You're trying your best but you know you won't make it for whatever reason, and so you think it might be better to give the prompts to someone else.
All comments are screened (we don't want anyone else to know who's a participant and how everyone's doing, right?) so please, check in and let me know the status of your story. Nobody's gonna be mad/disappointed/giving you the evil eye if you give up your prompts to a pinch hitter. I just want to make sure everyone's going to have a story written for them and posted on Halloween.
If I don't hear from you by the end of the weekend, I'm gonna start stalking you via PM or email, btw. Fair warning. ;P
