halloween_tibbsOkay, so Halloween in on Monday, and the way it looks, we should get about 15 stories/artwork (if not more!) that will be posted on Monday.
My question now is, what to do about cross-posting, most notably, of course, to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
gibbs_dinozzo?
halloween_tibbs is on the ncis_newsletter's watchlist, which means that all stories/artwork posted to this comm here will be featured in the Monday newsletter. Lots of people will therefore find our goodies, even if they don't follow halloween_tibbs.
If we all post our stuff togibbs_dinozzo, people's flists will explode (and I'm not even talking about other comms, like ncis_slash or the like). Now, I would never tell anyone not to post their stuff anywhere, but I have a suggestion to minimize the "spamming". We could do a masterpost in the gibbs_dinozzo comm, featuring the collected works (with links to each story/artwork). That way, all Tibbs lovers would know there's new stuff to be found in this comm here, but it would only be one additional entry on people's flists (instead of 15 or so individual posts).
My question now is, what would you prefer? Please only vote if you are actively contributing to the Halloween Extravaganza, since this is about the authors'/artists' work. Thanks!

This masterlist would feature links to all Halloween contributions posted here (unless someone would ask not to be included), and it would only be for the G/D comm.

Whether you post the entire story or just a link to your LJ, there'd still be (theoretically, at least) over a dozen separate posts. Add to that additional posts in other comms. And the posts in this comm here. Imagine your flist on that day...! o.O LOL!

But yeah, posting the fic to your own LJ and linking it here is perfectly fine. :D I'm not a big fan of comms that force you to post there instead of in your own LJ. :)
(And sorry I haven't started the beta yet. :( So you'll have to wait till you're back home to tweak the fic. My bad. Spank me?)
